Read the Privacy Policy

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file or identifier stored or read on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies may include browser localStorage or sessionStorage, pixels, SDKs or technical identifiers. In this policy, 'cookies' refers collectively to technologies with a comparable function.

2. AKLARIS's approach

AKLARIS follows a minimization approach: deploying only technologies genuinely useful for website operation and security. No non-essential tracker is currently used. If such tools are added, they will be activated only in accordance with applicable consent requirements.

  • strictly necessary cookies may operate without consent where indispensable to a requested service or security;
  • non-essential analytics or marketing tools will be activated only after consent where required;
  • if a consent choice becomes necessary, declining will be as easy as accepting and the choice can later be changed or withdrawn.

3. Technology categories

CategoryPurposeCurrent statusConsent
NecessaryOperation, security and technical management.Active only if necessary.Not required where strictly necessary.
AnalyticsAudience measurement, understanding website use and statistics.No tool currently integrated.Consent before activation if required.
MarketingAdvertising, retargeting, campaign measurement and social pixels.No tool currently integrated.Consent before activation if required.

4. Strictly necessary technologies

The website may use technical elements needed for operation or security. Depending on the deployed architecture, these may include:

  • security, abuse prevention or form protection mechanisms;
  • session identifiers essential to a requested feature;
  • technical mechanisms needed for correct website delivery or load balancing.

These elements must not be used for behavioral advertising or marketing tracking. AKLARIS limits their duration and scope to what is necessary for their purpose.

5. Analytics

AKLARIS currently uses no non-essential audience analytics tool, including Google Analytics. If one is added, this policy will be updated before activation and an appropriate consent mechanism will be put in place where necessary.

Where consent is required, the relevant script will not load before your affirmative choice.

6. Marketing and advertising

AKLARIS currently uses no advertising or retargeting pixel, including Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag or an equivalent tool. If these technologies are later added, they will be activated only in accordance with applicable consent rules.

7. Consent for possible non-essential trackers

The website currently has no cookie preference manager and uses no non-essential analytics or marketing tool. Before any such tools are activated, AKLARIS will update this policy and, where applicable law requires, provide a mechanism to accept, decline and withdraw consent.

8. Browser settings

You can also configure your browser to block, delete or limit cookies. Blocking certain strictly necessary elements may prevent website features from functioning correctly. Available settings vary by browser and device.

9. Providers and third-party cookies

The website may rely on technical providers for hosting, security, forms or content delivery. These providers may process technical information or logs required to deliver their services. AKLARIS does not thereby authorize use of this data for their own advertising purposes without an appropriate legal basis.

If AKLARIS adds a third-party service that sets or reads non-essential cookies, the provider name, purpose, category and, where relevant, duration will be added to this policy.

10. International visitors

AKLARIS serves an international audience, including in the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. Rules on cookies and similar technologies may vary by location. If non-essential trackers are added, a consent mechanism will be introduced in jurisdictions where required.

Where cookies involve personal data processing, that processing is also subject to the policy below and applicable data protection law, including Ivorian law, the GDPR or other applicable data protection frameworks where relevant.

Read the Privacy Policy

11. Updating the cookie list

This policy reflects the website's current configuration. It will be updated before new analytics, marketing, personalization or third-party services using non-essential trackers are activated.

12. Changes to this policy

AKLARIS may change this policy to reflect technical, regulatory or organizational developments. If a change materially affects the purposes for which consent was given, AKLARIS may ask for a new choice where necessary.

13. Reference framework

This policy was structured with reference to principles governing trackers and consent in the European Union and the United Kingdom, as well as the Ivorian personal data protection framework. For visitors in the United Arab Emirates, processing of personal data related to tracking technologies may also fall under the federal personal data protection framework where applicable.
